Tadmor & Nattiv

Erez Tadmor & Guy Nattiv are two young writers & directors from Tel-Aviv. They graduated together from “Camera Obscurs Film School Tel Aviv”. They made “Strangers“,  a 7 minutes drama for 20th century Fox Serachlight. “Strangers” was accepted to the short competition at Sundance film festival 2004 and won for best short. It also went to the Berlin film festival panorama competition. Another of their shorts, “Offside” won for best short film in the Manhattan international short film festival in 2006.

Their two short movies Moosh & Mabul won over then 40 international film festivals awards including: Berlin Film Festival – “Crystal Bear”award ,“World fest” in Houston, Palm springs , Mexico, Dawson City in Canada , Durango Colorado , Santiago de Chile and many more .

Written and directed by filmmaking duo Erez Tadmor and Guy Nattiv, Strangers is the short story of a Muslim and Jew who encounter each other on a subway and find themselves putting their religious difference aside to overcome a common enemy. It’s a very simple story, but told without dialogue using an unmistakable visual mood. This film was part of Fox Searchlight’s Searchlab program and won the Online Film Festival Viewers Award at Sundance 2004.

Offside is the second short film in the trilogy by Tadmor & Nattiv regarding the Middle East conflict. This short is a follow-up to their short film Strangers, Offside was shot in Israel, during September 2005, at the security zone that separates between Israel and the Palestine Authority.
